Afterburn Cardio Exercises

Without Equipment

The following cardio exercises don’t require any equipment, making them perfect for a home workout. The advantage of not having to use any equipment is that you can switch from one exercise to the next very quickly. This quickness is of course ideal for afterburn training.

With Equipment

Now for the cardio exercises that require the use of equipment. The main advantage of using exercise equipment for your cardio exercises is to enhance and increase the intensity of the exercise. The downside is that this requires that you have quick access to the equipment (especially if switching between multiple exercises). Another downside to take particular of is that you increase the chance of injury when using equipment, so be especially careful with these exercises!
